RegTechPRO didn't begin in a boardroom or a pitch deck. It began as the system our founder built to run compliance inside his own consultancy, Fenchurch Compliance Consultancy — used every day to deliver real FCA compliance work to real regulated firms.
He built it to deliver consultancy work — compliance audits, financial promotion reviews and more — in a better way. Rather than emailing static reports back and forth, each client got a secure login to their own private workspace, walled off from every other client's, where they could review findings, track the actions arising and collaborate on them with the team directly.
It earned its place on live client engagements long before it ever carried a price tag. The templates, the monitoring plans, the assessments — all of it was shaped by the demands of actual FCA work and user feedback, not invented by a software team guessing at what compliance teams need.
The business behind RegTechPRO has been an active UK company since 2017. In 2023 we brought the consultancy and the platform together under one name, RegTechPRO, and opened it up as a subscription product any FCA-regulated firm can run for itself.
Laurence Rixon has spent 28 years in regulatory compliance. Over that career, he has led the delivery of over £50m in regtech solutions — spanning customer onboarding, complaints management, compliance workflow management and training delivery.
